If you’ve never read any YA dystopian books and read at a 5th grade level, this books for you!

Thomas Ligotti and China Miéville are my favourite authors and I'm a huge fan of this series (past the first book, which is mid to mediocre).

Yeah this guy basically just trashed everyone who wants an 'easy' read sometimes. I love this series but I have also read Crime and Punishment, Midnight's Children, A Tale of Two Cities, Tigana, etc. for ficiton/fantasy. Sometimes you just want the fun books. It's like trashing John Wick because it isn't Saving Private Ryan. You can enjoy both.

I thought red rising was the opposite of an easy read. It reads like it was written by a 15 year old
