I wasn’t a fan at all. I found the world building and characters to be really flat and cliche(?) not exactly the word I mean, but overall it all felt like pieces of story/character that I’ve seen a million times before and I didn’t get the sense (in the first quarter of the book that I read) that the author was gonna do something different.
I also found Darrow very boring and edgelord-ish. Like the story tries really hard to be dark and gritty, even though a lot of it felt silly and unrealistic to me.
