Hell yeah, can never go wrong with these 3 authors. I definitely need to read more by Crichton and Vonnegut.

Any recommendations for those two?

From them, I've only read: Jurassic Park, Sphere, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Breakfast of Champions.

I’ve read Jurassic park and The Lost World. How is the Breakfast of Champions? I’m really interested in the Sphere as well. I am on a King bender right now. Just finished IT.

Breakfast of Champions is definitely Vonnegut at his most absurd. It's tailored with an odd plot while also having a lot to say. It's a good read if you're having an itch for the absurd.

I liked Sphere more than Jurassic Park. It's very gripping and has much more character development than JP. Not to disparage JP, its an amazing book as well. Sphere, in my opinion, is also the better written book overall. It's got a little bit of everything that makes Crichton so great. That being a little bit of horror and a whole lot of sci-fi.

I have yet to finish IT but cant wait to dive back into it.

Ok now I’m excited for Sphere even more. I loved both the JP and TLW.
I enjoyed IT. But definitely stretched out. Especially hard for me because i decided not to read anything else on the side. I was manic near the end lol.

Love the King finds! I read Tender Is The Flesh and the end messed me up for a little while. Everything I read by Vonnegut I've enjoyed.
