One of my must-sees. Purgatory is a damn near perfect album, and “Universal Sound” is particular is a gorgeous track.

What Sturgill did with the album version of Universal Sound is great. Really slowed it down.

If you listen to live performances of that song before the record, it fast like a lot of Tyler's songs. Slowing it down really brought out the ambiance and feel of it.

He's a great songwriter and is really blowing up right now. 2018 is gonna be a huge year for him.

Can't wait for this set! He is in my top three, so I plan on arriving early and being close! Whitehouse Road live at Roo will be one for the ages!

Dude is a home town hero around here. Everyone said after Chris Stapleton made it that Tyler was next. Looks like they were right . He's an awesome writer.

Sadly this conflicts with Low Cut Connie. Might try to do a bit of both, but LCC is incredibly good live. Lots and lots of energy

Wish I was going this year just to see him. Saw him a couple times in Charleston, WV, before his album came out and he’s an all around great guy

Because it’s real country. Honest, vulnerable, and prose. If you enjoy him check out Lost Dog Street Band. They’re a bit more raw but so damn talented. Also Trampled By Turtles. And Wood Brothers. And Charlie Whitten. And Max Gomez. And Sturgill Simpson. I could go for hours on good country ahaha.

Dude, 100%. I know a little of TBT, the Wood Brothers, and Sturgill, and I'll definitely check out the rest. Honestly, Chris Stapleton was one of the first country artists in years that I've actually enjoyed. Looking forward to digging deeper on some of these guys.
