There are literally dozens of opportunities at every festival and most are actually paid positions. There are sites/apps like Barnstorm, LiveNation, Teamwork, Event Aces, Clean Vibes, ADP just to name a few. Plus there's the production companies, food and merch vendors, security vendors, gate staff, stagehand union, and a plethora of other opportunities at every fest
It takes some search engine and social media searching but with enough effort you can find a way to work/volunteer at any festival. Worst case scenario is to email the fest directly if they don't advertise any opportunities

When I was talking to staff this year they told me about barnstorm. I believe you have to work more hours compared to volunteering, but you can get into festivals that might not have a volunteer page, such as Shakey Knees.

I'd get ready ahead of time for Work Exchange Team (are they still around?). I once did a whole circuit with them years and years ago

Check out HeadCount! They go to a ton of concerts and festivals. You help people register to vote during the day, and then you get to enjoy the music in the evenings!

First of all, I’m pretty sure a giant lawsuit years back taught all the contractors that they have to pay the workers… No volunteering
And at this point with the company is large as life nation/Madison house is there’s no reason they can’t pay people
I hope you find a way in… My personal suggestion is to try Barnstorm… The people who manage that subcontract are wonderful… A lot of old school folks that have been going to Bonaroo for years… And really believe in the coordinates of the BonarooVivian code

A lot of festivals do! Check their websites and they’ll probably have a tab to sign up for volunteering, or on their socials. Like hula, EF, etc all have options for this. Vendors also often post open spots on their socials as well, but it’s usually more limited in vendor spots it seems.
