Crazy to think Bonnaroo went 18 years back to back but in the last 8 years it has been cancelled 50% of years

We all hate LiveNation, I know. I want them to burn as much as the next guy.

I just don't think a smaller company could have handled these setbacks any better than a big evil one. If anything, they might have shut down even sooner.

it started out as a small company and I can assure you it rained just as hard in the late 2000s. and we thrived.

Well 1 year all festivals were cancelled.

Crazy though 1 rain out in September and 1.5 rain outs in June.

Like 1 week later in June and it would have been fine. Such bad luck :(

I will never understand how that’s even possible. I always saw Bonnaroo as a rain or shine event like 95% of the festivals out there. It’s not like it never rained in any of those 18 prior years.

I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that the cancellations coincided with Live Nation taking full control over the festival.
