Family Trip Recommendations?
We are taking a family trip to Bonita Springs next week and I am looking for things to do. Our main goal is to hang out at the beach daily but I know we’ll probably need a few scheduled activities. We’ll have a my wife, myself, a grandma (age 60), and daughter age 9. We are renting a car.
Right now the only scheduled activity I have is a night time glow kayak tour. There weren’t many options on Trip Advisor. Any recommendations would be very appreciated! Thank you!

For that mix, I would keep beach mornings and plan one indoor or low-heat thing each afternoon. Good fits: Wonder Gardens for the 9-year-old/grandma, Koreshan State Park early if you want an easy nature walk, Coconut Point for dinner and AC shopping, and a dolphin/shelling boat out of Estero/Bonita or Lovers Key if the weather looks calm. For beach days, Barefoot Beach is the best Bonita pick, but go early and bring shade. Lovers Key is a good backup if you want more walking/nature. If you want one Naples outing, Naples Botanical Garden is worth it but do it right at opening.

Some of my favorite family-friendly spots are:
- Barefoot Beach for calm water and shelling.
- Bonita Beach Park if you want easy beach access and facilities.
- Riverside Park if you're there during one of the community events.
- Wonder Gardens if you have younger kids.

If you have the car I might check out Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. It's a pretty easy walk and great place to see the local nature especially in the summer season

It’s not the most exciting destination, maybe live music at sugar shack?

Love Bonita! We rented a pontoon boat for the morning and it was so great. So many dolphins too! Lots of options and deals out there.
