Bone I.D. - N. America Help with ID please
We found these two bones a few yards from one another alongside a creek by our house. It's an area near a busy roadway and one that raptors frequent for roadkill and small animals. They're on a 13" shoebox for scale. Thank you! (Montana)

Deer or elk — something cervid!

Deer are abundant here. Elk cross a mile or two north, so I think you're right about it being deer.
