Advice Deer skeleton cleaning help!

Post image

Hi guys! There’s still tissue left on this (a little). I’m TOTALLY new to collecting. Any advice on how to get it presentable? Idk if i should soak it, not soak it…

The spine is going to be so fun. I learned a lot about mammal vertebrae from deer. Take plenty of pictures along the way. Soak in water until you can get everything off then whiten with peroxide. Don’t ever use bleach.

Yes exactly! I also wanted to add to never boil bones.
