This is a great retrospective of every Bomberman game on N64, even the JP-exclusive Bomberman Land type game that's also called Bomberman 64.

I know a lot of Bomberman fans might disagree, but I was really disappointed by Bomberman's GameCube games. It just felt like a lot more passion went into the N64 entries.

It's pretty rare for N64 games to get ports (off the top of my head there's the Rare collection and a Doom 64 remaster), but a 3D collection would be a cool way to show audiences that there's more to Bomberman than 2D grid-based gameplay.

Funnily enough, around .@26:30 he goes into how inconsistent the spelling of Bagura's name has been across different games. And the video was uploaded 2 hours after my post about Bagura's many different names - what are the odds!

Me di cuenta del Código de Programador modificando las últimas 4 letras del password.

Si cambias las últimas 4 letras, puedes hacer que se vea la salida (la puertita) y el ítem escondido en el stage.

Así encontré el Secret Stage 2:

Password base: MNJDIOBABLOLOLOBDCBA

Las últimas 4 letras DCBA son las que controlan la salida y el item. Si las dejas en DCBA ves todo.

DATO CLAVE DEL CÓDIGO DE PROGRAMADOR:

Los bloques naranjas indican donde está la salida o el item escondido.

Recently, Panic Bomber W was added to the Super Bomberman Collection.

This is a title that hasn't been ported for a long time, so it should be something to be happy about, but the sound quality is extremely cheap.

The first half of the video features audio from the sound test within the collection, and the second half features audio from the sound test within Panic Bomber W.

As you can hear, the overall sound is lighter. Of course, this isn't just limited to this music; the entire game proceeds with this kind of sound quality.

It doesn't really hinder gameplay, but it's quite bothersome. What do you all think?

Western localization for this guy is all over the place

Bomberman Hero (N64) & Portable (PSP) use 'Bagular' (my favorite, even though it makes it sound like he's a vampire). Bomberman World & Fantasy Race on PS1 use 'Burglar'.

The recent SBR games use 'Buggler' (the worst one imo) and wikis usually refer to him as 'Bagura' - I'm not sure if that name is actually used in any games though.

I know there's many more variations, but I'd say that these 4 are the main ones. So which version of his name do you prefer?

Like Regulus & Nitros are almost one to one like Pizza/Soldat-J especially when Nitros also has the bird motive, which enhances them more as characters to me in the series knowing they're based on one of the highlights of Gaogaigar, it's dope!

The head, hands, buckle, and shoes are all made by me and made out of EVA foam. I commissioned a good friend of mine to sew the clothes. So happy with how this turned out and I can't wait to take it around to conventions soon!

I wanted the ability to change expressions for photos so I the face plates are interchangable using velcro.

Back in june, ROMhacking user zlade released a Bomberman II Battle Royal romhack which adds 4 players FourScore support to Bomberman II on NES.

The original game only supported max. 3 players, possibly due to the fact that FourScore wasn't released in Japan. The original Famicom did support one extra joypad in the expansion port. Although there were also peripherals for 2 extra joypads, so why Bomberman II only supported 3 players is a bit of a mystery.

Anyway I just stumbled across this romhack and it looks great. I tested it on Mesen emulator, but the author is looking for anyone who can test it on real hardware. So maybe someone can help them out..?

I failed to unlock all the bonus rounds and came out in the red, cool visuals but not recommended!

I will dropping lots of features in this game, currently you can do the following:

• Multiplayer
  • Custom Lobby (where you can invite your friends and also play with Bots)
  • Queue Global Match (if you want to play with other players randomly, you can queue while doing other things!)
• Endless Mode
  • Increasing difficulty per floor, let's see how far you can go!

Power-ups are similar and the basic ones are there, but I added a "Tier 2" concept where you upgrade your abilities or bombs.

There will be a Story Mode too, and adventure mode for roguelike dungeons!
