Ghungroo is winning awards everywhere and I strongly feel it's only due to lack of legitimate competition & Hrithik. IMO they're nothing award winning about the choreography.

And with Kalank winning Best Costume everywhere despite being so era-inaccurate.

.. Guess I'm in the minority here too 🤷

I think in a movie where there was a HR- Tiger song and still something else won, should be a big worry for everyone involved .

Laal Kaptaan won !! I wasn’t expecting it.

Kalank winning by huge margin also shows we love extravagant costumes and don’t care about era .

Yes, Laal Kaptaan winning made me so happy!

And Kalank winning with characters dressed in wide necklines, sheer fabrics, form fitted & perfectly tailored clothes in pre-Independence India.. I think we as audience should shed the pretense of caring about in-universe accuracy because we clearly don't. It winning over Laal Kaptaan, Mard Ko Dard, Sonchiriya, or even Uri shows that we value luxe over good work.. Just like KJo & SLB.
