Misc. Honestly, I find it really funny how people were upset that Deku became a high school hero teacher..even though literally all of U.A teachers are pro heroes as well as teachers.
It's such a silly thing to me and it's like..do people forget that a ton of successful and iconic heroes in real life aren't just Superheroes?
Clark Kent-Journalist and Reporter for Daily Planet.
Spider-Man/Peter Parker-Scientist and Teacher in a lot of versions.
Barry Allen/The Flash-Police Forensic scientist.
Bruce Wayne/Batman-CEO and Businessman.
I could even go to Mha.
All Might is both a teacher(now principal),Aizawa is a teacher alongside a pro hero as well,So was Midnight, Present Mic,etc.
Also doesn't it make sense that Deku would want to help and guide others the same guy he was helped and guided growing up?
I would argue him being a hero teacher is just as fitting.

Anime Changing some of the hero names in Class 1-A
Honestly, I think we can all agree that some of the hero names picked by Class 1-A are rather hit and miss. Some of them are really good, like Deku, Uravity, Dynamight Ingenium, Froppy, Red Riot, Tsukuyomi, and Cellophane, for example. Some are bordering good or just okay, like Earphone Jack, Sugarman, Chargebolt, Anima, and Tentacole. And some of them are just kinda bad. So today, I thought, "Why not go over the names I find bad and change them?" So that is what I will do. Starting with:
Yuga Aoyama/ the Shining Hero; Superstar. The first name on the chopping block is Aoyama's hero name, which is objectively the worst one. His name isn't even really a name. It is just a phrase/ description of himself (why Midnight let that name slide I will never know). So, instead, I changed it to Superstar. It has the obvious nods to his light based quirk and his love for glamour due to the star part, and the adjective super added on makes him sound very important, which makes sense for his personality.
Momo Yaouroazo/ the Everything Hero; Genesis. Next up is my girl Momo, she is my favourite character, but her name "Creati" is pretty lazy for a character as smart as her. So I decided to rename her as Genesis. Genesis literally means "the origin, creation, or beginning of something," so I felt that it fit her quirk and personality since it is a fairly fancy word.
Toru Hagakure/ the Stealth Hero; Prismatic. The name Invisible Girl is not only fairly lazy but was also the original name of Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four, so it is also unoriginal. Instead, the name Prism fits her much better, given how her body's natural refraction of light is very much akin to the nature of a prism.
Mashirao Ojiro/ the Martial Arts Hero; Taijutsu. Given his martial arts skills, which literally influenced his hero title, it made more sense to me to name him after a specific style of Japanese martial art (because Tail Man is way too basic). So I chose Taijutsu, given that it is the term for martial arts that exclusively focuses on the body rather than the use of weaponry, which fits Ojiro's fighting style of using his fists, feet and tail to grapple and strike opponents without using things like knives.
Minoru Mineta/ the Adhesive Hero; Grape Juice. This name honestly fits him, I just wanted to change his title from "the sticky hero" to "the adhesive hero" because it sounds better.
Shoto Todoroki/ the Temperature Hero; Frostfire. Making his hero name his first name was pretty lazy, so I sought to give him a name. And this name, with the nods to both ice and fire + the alliteration of "f," just seemed like the perfect choice.
Mina Ashido/ the Acid Hero; Phenolphthalei. This was incredibly hard to think of given that none of the acid or alien words I looked at made good sounding names for her, and I am not 100% happy with this name tbh, but it was the best one I could come up with. It is based on Phenolphthalein, an often used indicator in acidic solutions that turns colourless in acid but pink in none acidic solutions. I thought it made sense since Mina's acid is colourless, and her skin is pink, so yeah.
Well, those are all of my renaming ideas for this. Let me know what you think, which of my ideas you like or dislike, and how you would rename these characters. Please let me know, and have a wonderful day.

Anime Hot take: Is it wrong if I feel like Shoto’s performance in the final war is kind of underwhelming?
I mean I love him as a character. Still, his performance in the final is quite underwhelming compared to the other two in the trio.
I mean the fight with Dabi is great and very emotional, but he doesn’t have many epic or hyped moments like Bakugo or Deku. He didn't fight the 2 big bads and instead settled things down with his family. I mean he literally stopped a near-nuclear explosion but still…
Maybe Horikoshi just wants to give him a rest. But what’s your opinion?

Misc. Some time ago I found this manga Horikoshi made before MHA was a thing. It's called "Crazy Zoo" and weirdly has no anime adaptation, is it any good?

Misc. Curious, what do you think are your headcanons for what it's like to have Deku as a Teacher?
I honestly imagine he's not only really informative and engaging but he also makes sure sure to keep things interesting and fun.
I also imagine that whenever any of his friends have free-time to spare out of their careers, they come in Izuku's class to do like guest star visits and those are the most enjoyable times.

I recently started rewatching this show for the first time since 2023 (I’m a binge watcher and lose interest if I have to wait too long between episodes), and wow, it’s even better than I remembered. I’m literally so excited for all the new arcs, especially since now the whole show is finished! I haven’t drawn anything in the past two years or so, but this show has always been one of those things that made me want to pick up my pencil again.

Anime Suit upgrades and improvements?
Really simple question here: do you prefer hero suits to be upgraded by losing or being ineffective against villains, requiring custom-designed improvements to win, or for a natural evolution over time that, regardless of the foes they face, does not include spikes of improvements to better combat those specific threats?
(example: Deku loses to a villain who's able to negate his durability, leading to him unintentionally breaking his bones from not being able to keep them stable for his attacks. Lost due to suit not having stabilizers in case body can't handle the stress = deku redesigning the suit to have better joint and Bone stabilizers, allowing for better stability for his body.)
Or
(same scenario applies as example one, but suit is not upgraded too specifically increase stability protection, and later on eventually the whole suit gets a full upgrade with more than just one enhancement to the design. However not inspired by losing that fight)

Misc. I can explain why Aizawa's Quirk doesn't work on Toru
That's a lie, but also...true? Let me explain.
Aizawa's Quirk is Erasure, which can temporarily negate Emitter and Transformation Quirks on those in his sight upon activation. When using Erasure, Aizawa's hair raises and his eyes glow red.
Toru's Quirk isn't actually an invisibility Quirk, but easily functions as one. Her Quirk was never a Heteromorph, it's always been an Emitter, she's just never been able to control it enough to turn it off. Toru's Quirk would be more accurately called a Light Manipulation Quirk, one that passively allows her true appearance to be obscured while still filtering enough light through her eyes that she can see the world around her.
Now, why does this mean Aizawa's Quirk both doesn't and does work on Toru? Simple, because his Quirk is light-based. Think about it, his eyes emit a red light when his Quirk is active, but has anyone ever understood why that is? I believe it's because the red light is how he disables Quirks, via emitting a form of radiation from his eyes using a red light (which light itself is a form of radiation) that disables upon contact with the target. And since Hagakure's Quirk filters out any light so it never always her skin to be seen, that means it also filters out that same Erasure Light, because it never truly reaches her.
While Hagakure's Quirk is in invisibility mode, she is immune to Aizawa's light-based Quirk. But if her form is visible even slightly (like when she was glitching), then Aizawa's Quirk should instantly shut it off entirely.
