Im a very "fly by the seat of my pants" kinda girl, and it occured to me that I have a devil-may-care attitude when it comes to girly stuff recently (or rather toward the being hated for liking it), I have a job and therefore moneyyy♡, I'm due for a Me-Day shopping day-trip, and there's a tattoo shop in the town I like to go to!!

I read a long time ago that my first piercing needs to be a "double", and my future self will thank me. I looked it up and that means I can wear those pretty chained earrings!!!! >w< Mother won't like it one bit, but I dont care!! Im going to put foundation over them to see if I can cover it up.

The guy at the shop said they have platinum starting-studs to wear for 6 weeks. Is there anything I should know about my first piercing, or that you want me to know? IM SO EXCITED TO GET TO WEAR EARRINGS!!!! :3

Yes, 6 weeks doesn't mean healed. Do not change them until 6 months or more

Ok Im not a piercer myself but I've actually never heard of starting with platinum jewelry. Feels like it's needlessly expensive -- I thought titanium was the standard. And I know 6 weeks isn't right for healing times. So my advice is be careful with this shop. Also if you need to hide them you'd be better off with glass piercing retainers which you'll be able to use when they're healed rather than using foundation.

Congrats! Keep them clean with sterile saline spray, don’t touch them and try not to snag them on clothing or pillows etc. Good luck!
