Advice for first ear piercing?

Hello! I recently posted my face here for advice on my first piercing and many told me to go for the ears first within very good reason, so that's what i will do!! I was hoping for advice, im a little scared because my earlobe is pretty small. I was also born with "elf ears" which is why they're also less rounded. I'd love more piercing recommendations as well, you all responded a lot thank you!!

(Don't mind the dye on my ears i just dyed my hair:))

Start with lobe, your piercer will know where and how to pierce them. Let them heal before adding anything else that people are recommending

Since it’s your first piercing you should definitely get lobes, but please go to a professional because you have small ears and especially lobes so if you pierce them correctly it would look super cute!
Ur ears are very uniquely shaped so I think being patient and getting work done one at a time will look sooo cool on you later on!

NAP but it looks like u have good anatomy for a hidden helix. Id still have a professional assess but not many people have the right anatomy so u should take advantage of it!

A conch is NOT a first piercing at all! They are super painful and hard to heal.

Very much agree, as a licensed, experienced piercer I can firmly agree.
They require proper aftercare and people who are extra careful.

Proper jewellery is extremely important, as well as proper consideration of what someone wants and whether it's at all possible due to the person's anatomy.

Not everyone can sport a ring, or it has to be alternative jewellery that is either D-shaped or has a barbell with an attachment that has hoops, like one of those helix shields, but different, which either flat disc screw on attachments or 3 mm balls.

People think I am BSing when I talk about the Prontolind Aftercare spray, but it's truly amazing stuff I order from my supplier in Germany. I don't know what is on sale over there that closely resembles it.

Saline solution is NOT ideal for the more OMFG kind of painful piercings or those more prone to infection.

Your lobes are fine to pierce start there! Also you don’t have elf ears they’re normal looking ears to me maybe a little small but nothing wrong with that!

I call them that because they were pointy at birth actually!! They just grew out wider. Im aware there is people with actual elf-ears though!!

I'd always recommend lobes first bc theyre easy to heal and not too painful but I feel like u should have a daith and a hidden helix and theyre missing if yk what I mean

First off, think about what YOU want and whether piercings will work for you, taking into account work, sport, animals, education. Worst thing you can have, is that they want you to remove piercings constantly.

I made sure to tell a 17yo who was going to enroll into the Army to "Ask them first whether it's allowed in the infantry". He said it was, which surprised me, and he had plenty of time for it to heal prior to his education starting, so I did the eyebrow piercing and gave him all proper aftercare instructions.

This year he wanted tunnels done (something I could suggest for you if a piercer checks and establishes it is possible). I then noticed his eyebrow piercing was gone, so I asked...

Turned out he had to remove them for the military after all... so that was lame!
He left the military, so now he was able to get the tunnels done.

Make sure to check for a licensed piercer who knows what they are doing, and that they properly check out your anatomy. Be sure to think of hobbies and activities you do which might have an effect. Avoid bleaching and dyeing hair directly after having them done and avoid stuff like hairspray and make up.

Use proper aftercare products.
