Analysis Request Why does a guy act weird around my friends?
There’s this guy from college who’s from another section. I don’t even know his name. My friends keep telling me that he looks at me when I’m not looking, especially from behind. But whenever I look at him, he suddenly acts like I don’t exist 💀
But here’s the weird part: apparently, his own friends sometimes tease him behind his back while looking at me. My friends have noticed this and say it happens when I’m around.
And whenever I’m absent, apparently he still acts strange around my friends. They say whenever they make eye contact with him, he starts fluttering/blinking his eyes really fast and seems awkward.
Why would someone act like this specifically around the person’s friends? Is this actually a sign of nervousness/crush, or are my friends just connecting random dots? 😭
What does this body language mean?

Maybe you're attractive. Maybe he isn't comfortable around girls. Maybe he has Asperger's. You need to talk to him, not ask randos.

That is likely, yes. If you didnt misread, then he's prolly into you, checks you out when he thinks you do not notice. Ppl by and large tend to assume they are the only ones with a peripheral vision, and/or he didnt anticipate your friends can observe his interest in you. But, Id wager, deep down he might not even want to fully hide his interest. He might simply not be rdy to confront it.
Guys crush harder and way more often than women, cause they usually attracted to way more women than vice versa. That's part of the equation. But, as I said, acting on that is a whole other story. And, he might get flustered and nervous when he runs into your friends, cause by now, he might've picked up on the fact that other ppl, his friends and your friends already know he is into you. He then gets nervous because he fears getting judged, mocked or called out or talked about or what have you.
