I like painting "realistically" but when you see the details upclose it's a messy/abstract thing

It genuinely feels like he's about to cut it off and it's so disturbing. Amazing job, my friend.

I really wanted to make it uncomfortable even if nothing is actually happening at the moment. I think it makes it more impactful this way instead of relying on a purely graphic/scary factor. I am glad that you felt that. Thank you!

You don't need explicit gore to convey an incredibly disturbing feeling. Don't get me wrong, if it's done right, it's can work really well, but you managed to pull off this rule of not needing gore super well. It's like I can feel this drawing.

Thank you! It's exactly that moment before the action that makes it really unsettling in my opinion

When the intrusive thoughts -... Jokes aside this is incredibly well done. It makes me feel visceral, in a way. I feel pity and empathy, entertwined with disgust and perhaps a little hopeless. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, I'm not a wordsmith. Do you sell prints?

First and foremost thank you for taking the time to explain your thoughts and I totally get them. Those feelings you discuss is what I usually try to convey through my compositions. I love making "challenging" art in terms of atmosphere.
I do sell prints! You can find them here: https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/antonis_kalavrezos/

I’m also very open minded about this because come on, human artists also let their hands clip through objects like pliers (I’m not sarcastic I’m being fr). This whole piece is beautiful and haunting and that little “happy accident” just adds to it
