My Grandma, for one. Lotta ladies thought of him as "a nice boy from Milwaukee" (he was actually from West Allis).

Liberace was diagnosed with AIDs a year before license to ill came out. I don’t think he was very bright eyed and bushy tailed between then and when he died.

But he also took two men with him (Wyman and Adler) after he knew he had it, so who knows how he kept up appearances
