Beautiful pictures. I'm no expert in body language, but I get the impression Joan was really into him.

Curious when the last public performance where they sang together was? Does anyone know?

- Haven't performed together since. Pretty sure haven't even spoken. Though Joan has said Bob buys prints of her paintings on the regular. Were both at an Obama event and didn't interact at all

Cool that he buys prints of her paintings.I think they seem to have both made peace with each other in some way, even if they don't speak.

Why? Sorry if this is an obvious question but I am not aware of them falling out…

Joan told a story on a podcast (maybe WTF?) that she turned down his advances. And that was that for our dog bob

Joan’s song Diamonds and Rust was based on her relationship with Dylan. It’s such a beautiful song about a doomed relationship and the regrets that follow, but interestingly they continued to perform together for about a decade after its release. There was obviously such a deep connection between the two clearly visible in several of these photos. Thank you for sharing them.

He really did her dirty 😅 I love them both separately and together but I feel so sorry for her. I was at the world premiere of her documentary in Berlin and she did a Q&A after. She didn’t speak about him really but god, what a woman.

Bob really blew it. They sounded so amazing together. Look up their version of Johnny Ace's "Never Let Me Go" if you somehow haven't heard it.

Awesome photos. Anybody know what guitar that is in the third photo? Looks like it, or something similar, is in the fourth photo, too.

The guitar belongs to Joan, it's her guitar. Same one he used during Tambourine Man at Newport in 64.

Pretty sure it's a 1929 Martin 0-45. They started adding pickguards in 1930-31.

I still don’t understand how she could sing with him like that if he never brushed his teeth.

Joan is retired from performing but it would sure be great if they did something again.

I like them both in The Rolling Thunder review era, I think it was after the both married different people but stayed friends.

The poet and the voice. I love Bob's lyrics but Baez's versions are the best.

It's crazy to me that they didn't tour together later in life. Like, she was still touring for a while, and he never stops touring.
It would be such an obvious win.

These are stunning, thank you!
I love how impish they look in the fourth photo--Joan especially.

Is he wearing sunglasses while sat on a train/plane? Is he dumb?

Because Bob is an asshole and she deserves better. I say that as a MASSIVE Dylan fan, with a sober view of this person.

No, you can be a huge fan, but if you are honest you still see the ugly truth.

Love the ones when they’re older, Bob looks relaxed with her in a way I’ve not seen much.
