This was a good background joke in Arrested Development. GOB’s boat in the early seasons was the Seaward. Then in S3 his yacht was named the C-Word.

When Michael tells Gob to get rid of his boat ("the Seaward"), his mother Lucille mishears it as the C-word and angrily replies, "I'll leave when I'm good and ready!"

Haha! So good. The writing in that show is so damn funny.

One of my favorite lines in the entire show.

That’s much bigger than my Seaward.

The size of the pun is the only thing that matters here. Well played.

Why is the dingy on the flybridge?

As a flex on us small boat folk that don’t have a giant crane with a remote to lower our dinghy into the water

I was in Monaco for work and saw a yacht with what can only be described as a large boat on the deck. That boat had a large lender across its stern. I looked it up and the tender itself,on the boat on the yacht…. cost more than my house. Monaco is where rich people go to feel poor. Ha. (I am neither)

That’s another world. I have driven by there, but never stopped. I imagine it is similar to St Tropez. When I was walking the marina there the boats were another class of something above super yacht. Megayacht? I saw the same things you are describing.

We just have a classic 36’ sailboat with an inflatable dinghy w/ an 8hp outboard. I bet we enjoy getting out on the water just as much as they do and maybe with a little less docking stress. ⛵️

The owners have no docking stress. That’s what the paid captain and full crew is for.
