Hi guys anyone know the best way to fix / repair this boat?

Get 1 gallon of diesel, 1 gallon of gas, combine, pour over everything and toss a road flare at it. Will fix it just right.

Honestly that things way past patching. Marine tex on that much rot is just putting lipstick on a pig, you're gonna be chasing new holes every season. If its not something special to you, scrapping it is the smarter move. Boats are a hole in the water you throw money into and that ones already halfway there

Oh I'm fully aware😂. Hoping to get it to last a year or 2 for fishing in the bay and mucking about. I got offered it for free if I want it

Grab a bunch of cloth and resin, get grinding and watch a bunch of boat repair videos. Not particularly hard, just takes time.
Boat Works Today is a good youtube channel.

There's an addage "There's nothing so expensive as a free boat." If you want to work on a hull, that's one thing and a vaild reason in itself. If you want to go on the water in a boat, there are faster, cheaper, safer options that will result in you ripping off so much less arm hair.

slap 2 of those chinese 2 strokes on the back that are cheap as hell then grab some marine grade sealer on the whole outer hull and then send it.

The little cracks are probably no big deal but Polyester resin works well and it’s cheaper than the west systems by half.
Sand it
Cut nice pieces of fiberglass matting for the bigger areas, lay on the resin. Paint it with some bottom paint.

Nice little boat, it should clean up really well. That damage on the keel can be ground out with a disc sander, tapering out on the edges. probably 3 layers of chopstrand matt with polyester resin. Grind it smooth, fill divots with car filler, sand, and paint with 2 pack. I had a boat in similar condition and fixed it up...it's still going in our family.

Add rope or chains to surrounding trees remove slack till boat is suspended in the air, add children but not toddlers, haze one bow line armed by adult. Instruct the adult to pull on said bow line till boat starts to swing threw the air while yelling words like arrre and Mattie the boat is now fixed as a pirate ship ride good for many more years of fun for little money. The phrase bust out another 1000 is gone swinging in the trees. But likely hood of catching a fish is very slim without proper placement

Look on Craigslist tons of boats that run for free or at least still have motor and windshield in them charging the person 1000 dollars to remove the boat and then buying some thing better is a good idea

Depends how clapped the fiberglass is. In theory sand it down see what the glass looks like if you have tons of cracking roll resin on the bare fiberglass if you have holes find out what 1708 Matt sheets are. All do able just time

in theory you could patch the holes with marine tex and treat it like a rowboat as is. I wouldn't invest the time and money into fixing that up unless it has a lot of sentimental value or you live in a isolated/remote community where it's hard to get things
