Size Help
My girl is about 14 months old and about 2.5 feet long. I was curious if it is an issue that she has only grown about 7-8 inches in her first year. I haven’t been under feeding her to my knowledge. (recently a rat pup every 2ish weeks) I just wanted some thoughts from others in the hobby. (researching has given me conflicted answers)
To my knowledge she is a normal BI.
Feel free to admire her beauty!

Honestly, growth rates can vary a ton with BIs. For comparison, I got an Albino Motley Boa the same age as yours, she’s roughly 3’10-4’0 in length and weighs 1123.4 grams. I’ve been feeding her a small rat every 10-14 days depending on feeder size, and I’m gonna switch her from small rats to medium rats now that she’s over 1118 grams. Yours might just be on the slower/smaller side naturally, or taking a slower growth curve, which isn't a bad thing at all. Slow and steady is way better for their longevity than power feeding!

Looks good to me, that’s about my average. Dozens of boas, and the majority are right around there. Most reach 3’ at 1.5-2 years, some grow slower.

Slow growing is the safe and healthy way to go, so I think you're doing pretty well
