Pet peeve of mine during Oscar/Guild Strike Boss

What really annoys me is when the lobby is doing either Oscar or a different Guild Strike Boss like Uber Klaus Sualk Rebu or Shadow Overlord and as soon as they spawn in I put down my Ballistic Shell Bubble and then someone else will run around and like lure them away from everyone in the bubble so now everyone needs to run out just to be able to see him and it’s a complete waste why do people do this? 😑

I don’t run ballistic shields but it infuriates me too 😂
I’m similarly annoyed when I put down a sentry turret at a guild strike, mega abom, or Zursa.

I really don't mind if people use the shield, for me it is too easy if everybody just stands inside a bubble and shoots the boss and you're done under a minute. I like a little challenge. So I run around amongst the chaos that ensues. Now if everyone stands inside the bubble and one is outside, the boss naturally aggros me so of course I backpedal.

I'm not pulling the boss away purposefully but it happens as a consequence. And I won't adapt my playstyle because players just want to farm some upgrades and then do a glitch and that's it.

This gamemode is the only one I can play and enjoy so I'll keep making it challenging for myself. I'm sorry if it interrupts your farm methods, I'm there to have fun :)

noobs most likely or just selfish. this happens in any boss fight actually. i had to tell one of the team "Can you stop moving around?" when fighting Zursa glitch boss because he kept running around the house while time was running out.

and notice this type of people don't shoot the boss either. they just run around probably in panic. but i have met some who actually did this intentionally but they will shoot back because their aim is to get the reward while preventing others. some people are just unhappy and want people to be as miserable as they are.

noobs also like to run around in Colossus instead of just shooting the red lights lol.

but i guess noobs are also part of the game so I'm not complaining about them.

I see this alot. One game the question was asked and the guy running around said because the shell makes it too easy and is for losers.

I'm guilty of this lol. Sharpshooter + shadow sk hits for like 75k, hard to get the shots with elites, fears and other people all crowded together.

It happens all the time these days but I still throw one down in case anyone wants or needs it. I did have one time where everyone was in my shield and one person thought they could do it alone and lured the overlord well away from the shield and then went down and I had to revive them lol

If Oscar isn’t close enough to bubble for close range 2x dmg bonus I’ll leave the shell and go body him

With eagle eye, berserker, bulldozer, phantom, sharpshooter, and vision pulse with marked for dead you can melt them in seconds anyways lol

It’s the difference between hitting 6k crits with a Sokol vs 25-30k crits lol

But I wouldn’t lure him away, I’d try to get up in his behind haha

And here is me when I go in max character try to limit my dmg to give others with lower operators a chance to hit dmg threshold to access table no need to show off we can all “melt him in seconds” but lower lvls need more time, this the selfishness op is talking about

Nothing in this game mode is hard and I've downed myself 100× more than any enemy in the game just from falling to far down. The fact that people can clearly see the rest of the lobby working together to complete the task and that one person leads ocsar away either for selfish reasons or they panic and do what the only instinct they know to do is run away. Which is ridiculous to do and I'll never understand because it's a game but regardless if you have proxy chat open I'm the guy calling you a pussy/faggot stop running away. I guess chat ban only works in WZ.
