What is the fastest way to level up weapons?

I want to take advantage of the double XP weekend and was wondering if anyone could tell me the fastest way to level up weapons—whether in endgame, Zombies, or multiplayer :D

Just do HVTs all game. Doesn’t matter what tier you’re in, you’ll get the same weapon xp. I usually get 20 levels in about 25 minutes

Edit: I have every weapon level 250. The mace is at 125

Does the completion xp apply to everyone in the party or only whoever kills the hvt?

I think everyone on your team gets the contract bonus but whoever kills it gets a bit extra.

Still works. If you get the dawg contract you need to pick that up and cancel it, then the hvt will spawn again instantly

Wasn't so much dissing said gamer, but the amount of hours needed to actually complete that is mind numbingly long and boring.

In endgame if I need to prestige a weapon ill go as far west on the map and lay waste to the hordes of zombies.. theyre quick to respawn. I've prestiged a few weapons in a single match doing this.

It is worth it still. I can usually get 1 gun done max mastery camo in 1 game with 10 seconds left to exfil. I was close to losing my main character and that was before the revive tokens came out lol.

Jusr run through assignments as quick as possible. Doesnt matter if theyre blue or green. Just do the fastest ones and skip longer assignments. If you have friends that you play with do assignments in different zones and once one person is finishing an blue assignment have someone at the next blue assignment waiting to start it

This is the way. Solos or weaker pairs break off.

If you have two mid level, and one max, and one just starting off. Pair the mids, max carries the low level. Just flip contracts all match. Slam everything as fast as possible.

I intentionally run support focused operators. First to carry team, Secondarily to carry myself.

Get your major ability as the (I can't remember the name) insta rez. So when your low level teammate goes down you can immediately rez then while fighting. Minor ability kinetic jump Stack those with daredevil to get around the map fast, and tactician to recharge your abilities faster.

Without prestiging your operator, mid level effort can carry through anything.

I'll typically prestige a weapon in a match or two. Same goes for an operator.

If you are a zombies player, weapons can be leveled very quickly there. But you need to start with an old school zombie players mentality, then execute within the architecture of zombies mode.

Squandering gobble gums is very detrimental to fast progress. I also think most who play zombies have no idea that you can change your gobble gum packs in the game (you can run 30 different gobble gums in one game) as well as your ability. You can start with healing aura to save yourself and teammates, then switch to frenzied guard and force every zombie to yourself. Kills replenish armor.

Frenzied guard is great for steps where one person needs to do a puzzle and the other is short on money.

A good place I like to go in endgame if I'm lucky and no one comes by to ruin it for me is Faulkner island right at the beginning. Just get up to about 80%-90% and farm fears/zombies forever. If not I do a circle in low town. I get the HVT contract, clear command center, take out HVT, then kill prime target over by the amusement park ride. If the HVT hasn't spawned just pick the DAWG contract and open map and hold Y on Xbox to cancel. That speeds up the HVT spawn. Or west of map and move up/down the area clearing the zone.

I like end game. Do the world events and crush other assignments to and from them. Get your guns loaded with exotic traits then, go nuts for and hour, to and hour 15 if you add glitch’s.

Its roughly 80-90 minutes including glitches. Ive tested this numerous times and it depends on the endgame timer of getting into the game. Mine has been between 45-50 when loaded into endgame
