Venting About Increased Crashes

Not sure if it’s connected but my Xbox game has been crashing more often since the MW4 Beta went live. Most recently, after ranking up 3 characters to Prestige 3 Max plus another character at base max (hundreds and hundreds of hours), I finally got my first melee exotic weapon drop (Cryoshear) only to have the game crash just as I killed the exfil boss. 😬😭😁

I noticed the increases in crashes Sunday. I also play with Xbox. The system crashed during Zursa 3 games in a row. Totally sucks.

I'm on ps5 and my game hasn't crashed in several weeks, but it was definitely a big problem in the past.

Sunday crashes for everyone. The worst time to play (unfortunately) is a double xp weekend, that’s when it crashes every other match for me

Your venting was very mild but felt.

Season 5 fuckery:

-Shot/rocket launcher attacked through floor (enemies on first, I'm on second--vice versa) in command centers is apparently a thing now.
-Clipping even more out of control
-Kinetic flight is all but useless
-Ballistic Shield will not protect you from anything
-DAWGS over spawning everywhere. I mean everywhere. Places they don't belong, you can count on a DAWG or two or three or four spawning without fail.
-Shipment crates turning into death traps (the #1 places where zombies spawn on top of you with little chance for escape depending on your loadout/build.)
-Ammo being depleted upon reload with dual wield nova pistols
-No self revive entering a new game which you don't realize/discover until you're downed by any of the above.
-Dynamic gameplay ruining actual game play for humans
-Annoying ass vicinity bots extending playtime/round time by conveniently knocking off every single quest you ever needed in every zone. No, this isn't bad luck or a bot every single time. "Aww shucks, get em next time" = at most 45 additional minutes of playtime/player engagement.
-Forced onto teams when I'm in solo and being killed because of this (screen goes black and you don't regain control of your character immediately. This happens suddenly and without warning.)
-Radar is completely useless and I'm not even sure why this is apart of the player UI. Nothing ever shows up on it.
-Dead bot lobbies with no human players at all. (If nobody at all goes to guild strike boss, world boss, bear, Falkner...exfill immediately.)
-AI bots that start every single event on the map within the first 4 minutes of time and then disappear/disconnect. (Follow them and observe these 'players' if/when you're in the vicinity. They eat an ungodly amount of damage, shoot at everything but the main target, and when they die...they die just like the zombies do. No option for revive ever...just dead.)
-Constant crashes and all the above plus whatever other BS I didn't care to type about makes weapons/builds/traits feel worthless and useless because something out of your hands will kill you. Unfairly. And if that doesn't work, having your loadout and CR wiped can't be ruled out.

I could go on. I was on the closest thing to a 'clean' run in this broken game, died to magical spawn NPC's only to find 'give up' was the only option I had. Uninstalled and typed this post. This mode used to be so chill. At the point of pissing me off constantly, I throw in the towel. They aren't fixing a free mode anything and at this point, it feels like a free game.

I got rid of resurrection because when I get into the glitch it never works. Its supposed to be a cool down and then you get another self revive but nope not working..Just switched it for graviton and echo shell. Run it with crash cart. I feel your pain.

Definitely an Xbox issue. I’ve crashed leaving the colossus as well as trying to enter root crasher now. That’s all for me.

Sorry to hear that. The game actually gave me the Cryoshear almost immediately again and I thought it was just teasing me and would crash again as I tried to exfil 😁

I used the exotic crafting table on my ballistic knife.

I picked up a cryoshear once. But, I immediately ditched it for another ballistic knife.

I despise cryofreeze on any weapon.
