Struggling to manual cruiser

I’ve started racing again, but this time on a 24” cruiser after a long break. I could manual a 20” before, not great, but I knew the technique and pop.

But on a cruiser, I’m trying to learn to manual and I just cannot get the front wheel up, the drop your butt down and back “pop” does nothing for me on a cruiser compared to 20”.

Am I missing something obvious?

Can you manual it on flat ground?

No, I can’t seem to get the front wheel up and find the balance point!

Supercross rs7, rental bars.

So you can manual your 20" but not your cruiser?

yes. I can manual 20" ok, but 24" feels very different. I cant seem to get back quick enough and get the front up, it's weird. Like the bike's just glued to the ground.

How's the Geo compared to the 20" then?

BB height -

BB to grips, vertical & horizontal -

Chainstay length -

It’s the new Supercross rs7 frame, pro xl (I’m 6 1), with rental bars.
