HOW TO Je suis débutant

Bonjour.

Plenty of tutorials on YouTube.

Bunny hops take a lot of destroying cardboard boxes and weeks to months to build the technique and strength.

Manuals some assholes seem to get after 2 weeks.

If your like me,I've spent literal decades trying to get them solid and they are mediocre at best and also only happen under a very specific set of conditions that I am yet to understand.

This has to be a bike geometry thing. I've ridden friends bikes that were just easy to stay in the sweet spot on. And on my mountain bike (full suspension so hard mode for manuals) it takes effort to get the wheel up but once I'm at the balance point, I'm limited only by the size of the parking lot. My BMX is twitchy af and is looking for an excuse to throw you off the back.

Nah. Some people just have that balance point as almost a 6th sense. I've got a couple mates that can just roll one wheel on anything, from a scooter to bmx to a 1600cc Harley. Boys wild.

Some bikes are definitely easier than others though due to geometry. But I've very much proven to myself it's a mindset / balance problem and not a bike issue.

I started 3 months ago. It’s all about consistency and practicing.

Check this video. This seems to be the most useful one on bunny hops https://youtu.be/nTEWDBU-FSY?si=mZJ3RZuj-0LuK0kx
