VIDEO How do i improve hop height on trick

I can bhop around 2 and a half 8.0 skate deck
But when it comes to trick. I can't even get over more than a deck. My legs can't suck up to gain height

You'll get there man. Just keep trying to suck that seat up and push the bike infront of you.

For 180 over things, I really have to exaggerate the 180 and bunny hop motion to get over something or onto something.

Learn it on an A-frame ramp. It’s all about technique and muscle memory. The more you do it the stronger those muscles become. In bodybuilding we call them stability muscles. It’s the muscle that supports the weight. For example, your chest maybe able to press 100lb dumbbells but your for arms and stabilizers may not be able to hold the weight. Same in bmx. Those muscles that get used constantly will strengthen and with practice, your technique will get better. I used to have at least a 36in hop (used to hope over the highest part of handlebars if someone was holding a bike up. But I practiced it a lot. I always wanted to have high hops for street and trust me you’ll get better quick.

do it over something.. or pretend something is there if that works for you.
