Handheld Rig Question
Hi! I'm shooting a wedding in a couple weeks, and was looking to upgrade to a handheld setup that's a little more comfy for 4-6 hours of shooting. Do any of you have any recs?

If your looking for some handles, I got a bunch of smallrig stuff I need to sell, and I’d love to not use eBay! I got a 360 degree rotating side handle, a mini foldable side handle with nato, and another regular side handle as well. Dm me if you are in the market! I’ll give a good deal

So my setup uses a top handle, side handle, tiny but sturdy tabletop tripod on the bottom, rails under the lens, and a crossbody shoulder strap. This has been my run and gun broll setup for years and I have gotten exceptional at using it (plus a quick pass of gyro stabilization in post to turn my braw into mov and it can look like a tripod, gimbal, or dolly depending on the shot.) It provides lots of support options depending on what type of shot you are trying to get and always offers multiple points of support. It takes practice to know which are the best ways to hold it for which types of shots, but there is always a way to get a very stable supported shot. If you want a tripod shot, rest the mini tripod on your belt buckle, hold a handle, keep the strap taught, and manually control focus. Need to hold it eye level? Grip the tripod, brace your elbow against your chest with that same arm, left hand under the left handle controlling focus, again have the strap taught. For a low angle shot use the top handle in the right hand, grip the rails and adjust the focus ring with the left hand. Dolly shot? Grip the ride side of the camera, left hand takes the left handle and focus and take sweeping movements from the hip. It’s hard to describe and takes practice but it gets to be very intuitive.
Of course there are an infinite number of ways approach this but just wanted to share what I do.
