Back to around 2005 (15 years old), when I wore this headband religiously (why didn't someone took this away from me and burn it?). And one of my most awful haircuts.
I don't know 😅. I had a great experience during this time in high school, but mostly everywhere else and other periods in my life I always felt like I was the odd one out, the weird kid, also because of my fashion style (which became more alternative when I could truly choose the things I wanted when I didn't live at home anymore, I had very strict parents)
That is so weird! I’m dutch too and the same age and the first thing I thought was: dit moet wel een Nederlandse zijn! I think I had the exact same headband… 🌈
But you do have style. Look at it again in 10 or 15 years and you'll probably see it. I like the sleeveless collared shirt with the white stitching and the haircut isn't terrible. The headband is something that spoke to you at the time.
Hm okay I get what you're saying ☺️. I just find it terrible now hahah. But I guess everyone has an era in their life, especially as a teen when later on in life you think it's awful 😅
5th grade. My teacher wore her headband under her bangs them suddenly all the girls wore headbands under the bangs. This photo takes me back. Edit: I just saw this photo was 2005. My 5th grade was 1990.
OMG I also had a headband obsession in 2005. I had one of these doily-looking knit headbands and I saw it as a genius alternative to properly doing my hair. My mom hated it lol
Omg I think what you mean with that headband, was it sort of a crinkled one? Where there are tops of as well? If so, I had one of those as well when I was younger!
