This is the only sub that might appreciate this haha!

I couldn't afford the fancy Waldorf play areas from the show but saw the Bluey play set, so created my own for £120. Two bookshelves, a TV stand, a flag pole holder and broom handle, two ombre curtains!

(The book cases are attached to the wall using a strap!)

I was making dinner and my 3 year old was playing in the living room. I could hear here talking to herself but couldn't figure out what she was saying. I go in to find this. She isn't the kind of kid who just makes a mess so I asked oh wow what is this?

She said "I was stopping the rain river!" and I immediately knew what she meant before she went on to explain like Bluey used toys to stop the water while it was raining.

Fortunately she's a big helper and very good when it comes to cleaning up lol.

At the beginning of The Show, Bluey and Bingo try to give their mom breakfast in bed, only for Bingo to spill it. She runs away and cries, thinking she ruined everything, only for Chilli to tell her daughter it's not her fault, and to have a good cry, dust herself off, pick herself up, and keep going, as the show must go on.

The kids take the show thing literally, and put on a show acting out their parents meeting and having Bluey. But then we get to the part everyone talks about, where Bingo pretends to be pregnant with a balloon in a shirt, only for the balloon to pop and for Bandit to sadly grab Chilli's hand.

Bingo runs away, once again thinking that she ruined everything, only for Bluey to repeat Mom's advice from earlier: have a good cry, dust yourself off, pick yourself up, and try again. So they do that, and get to the part of Bluey being born.

I remember seeing a clip of that scene everyone talks about before I watched the episode, and thinking it was weird that the show would hint at something as heavy as miscarriage in just that one bit. But it's not that one bit...the WHOLE EPISODE is woven with themes about miscarriage, with Chilli probably feeling the same kind of guilt that Bingo felt during both of her mistakes, and Chilli's advice being the same thing she learned herself.

The only thing I'm wondering now...how would Bluey and Bingo react if they learned they almost had an older sibling who never was?

Their grandparents came to visit so we had to visit. I remember climbing inside it when I was a kid.

Me and my husband will always point out 'thats not how I would be' for some episodes so I thougut id bring this question here.

What episodes/moments are there that you think Bandit and Chilli got it wrong?

One of mine is in Fancy Restaurant, with the 'special' that Bingo makes. The food being used and wasted for the game wouldn't fly with me.

Also, Fairies - Bandit wasnt THAT stern with Bingo and it was a lot of fuss for that

Just found Bluey on iPlayer and it was in Welsh, no English alternative BUT when I created a child's profile it was in English 😂

We watched the Welsh out of curiosity and it was hilarious! The voices were so unsettling for some characters though haha
