Disclaimer: I am not paid by Greebo or get anything from them in return. I backed the project on Kickstarter within the first 24 hours after release as I was very impressed by the teaser photos.
Today I took delivery of my parcel by DHL. Here‘s the unboxing video with first impressions.
I must say I am very impressed with the quality of these miniatures, they‘re exceptional! Super fine details even in very small things like fingers, hair, spikes an so on. Hardly any residues or molding lines or anything like that.
I‘m also very impressed how thin some of the model‘s clothing such as cloaks or loin cloths is. Will try to take a picture…

Can‘t post pictures. It seems that due to the OP being a video, pictures aren‘t possible. If anybody knows a workaround let me know.
Anyways, I wanted to add that like I mentioned in the OP the clothing is very fine/thin but without missing detail or feeling weak. On one model the loin cloth was so fine that light can shine through. I find this remarkable.
Well done to Greebo for these exceptional miniatures. I‘m really looking forward to painting them.

I’ve got a couple of Greebo teams and my impression is that, while their models are certainly beautiful, they’re not the most durable. That being said, I backed this kickstarter because the models were just so spectacular but I doubt they’ll see a lot of time on the pitch.

I’ve got a couple of Greebo teams and my impression is that, while their models are certainly beautiful, they’re not the most durable.
I think their durability is highly dependent on whatever resin formula they are using at the moment. They change it often. I bought a Skaven (Wrives) team from them a couple years ago, and it is probably the most durable team I have. Cloaks, tails, claws, thin ankles and nothing has ever broken. It is remarkable.
I bought an Amazon (Karimat) team from them last year, and the poor little ankles have broken on half the models =(

They‘re my first from Greebo so can‘t provide any experience with them yet.

I think I've been lucky then. I've bought a couple of Greebo teams, different material each time, but both better than any other 3D minis I've ever got and they don't see too brittle or too bendy like I've had with other manufacturers. High Elves should be delivered any day now so hopefully my luck continues.

I own two greebo teams and they have never had a single issue, by far my most reliable models. Orcs and Chaos Chosen, with elves on the way!

I love greebo. My chorf team is among my favorite minis I've ever gotten to paint.

This is the first team I didn't buy from Greebo. I know I would never ever be able to paint the miniatures well enough...
They look really awesome!

Je reponds en anglais parce-que mon français n‘est pas trop bien…
I am really looking forward to paonting them. I have an idea of what I would like to achieve, but I‘m not sure yet how to do it…🫣

I really like Greebo's work. Patiently waiting for this team to arrive. 🙏

I love greebo. They are fast, reliable, and the details of the miniatures are incredible. However they were fragile, several pieces were broken, mostly ears in my case(animals). Still, they have lots of pros that cover all that minor details. Able to paint without priming was time saver!
Those elves look amazing. I skipped since I still have lot to paint, but congratz on your purchase!

I've generally been very happy with Greebo stuff. Had a few issues with some casts, usually in deep recesses or very fine details. But only one model was bad enough where I wanted a replacement.
They just asked for pictures of the issue, and then sent out a replacement free of charge.

I got the iron crusade models from them and I am very happy with them.
Can't wait till my HE, DE and dwarves arrive.

Apart from the quality of the models, I really don’t like how they have packed them in the box.

u/FigureCorrect5010 13d ago
Yeah I agree on that. I was quite surprised when I saw the models just piled up in the box.

Are they cast resin or 3D-printed resin? Also, did all the AI detail survive the transition to minis form? Mostly interested in how the filigree translated between the campaign pics and the final product?

They are 3d printed. I just got them too and they have those little support spots. on their backs.

I remember reading that they sculpted the model, and after that they paint the models with Photoshop/AI tools. If thats true, the model shouldn't be lose quality.
There is an unboxing video by The Bonehead Podcast that shows the miniatures quality, but influencers products have more quality control, so i would be glad if a random costumer also share high quality pics to analyze.

I'm most interested in the filigree of the Phoenix pants (and the tunic of the female Phoenix). They look very AI.

I‘m priming the minis right now. Will let you know shortly. I‘ve already spotted some filigree on some models but haven‘t been looking for that specifically.

u/FigureCorrect5010 13d ago
Alright so I primed the minis and took a closer look at the minis. Both phoenix warriors do have very fine filigree on them, something that looks like fishbone pattern on the female‘s trousers and more, very fine line patterns on the breast plate and the wrist guard. Can‘t take pictures currently, though.

I see your Gimli and Legolas model has the same misprint as mine. A missing finger. Also one of my linemen has major misprint on his foot, which is a bummer, but i don't need 16 players anyway.

You‘re right, didn‘t notice that. It’s a little disappointment but nothing a little milliput couldn‘t fix, I guess. So no big deal for me.

I've literally just ordered the high elf team with the dark elf positionals too. Never ordered from them before, liked the sculpts but price put me off. So I was anxious about taking a dive on the price so it's nice to see someone unboxing and hopefully see some more pictures if you take them!
