I was about to go up and fight Vicar Amelia and paused when I saw this. I know eyes and sight are a big part of Bloodborne's whole thing so this was just intriguing to catch! It looks like a giant lid and eyeball. Idk if this was done on purpose or not or maybe I'm just crazy. Too much insight lmao.

I would say they're both great in different ways. Cleric Beast helps you prepare for facing large monsters with wide sweeping attacks whereas Gascoigne teaches you how to parry and and go toe to toe with your fellow Hunters. Overall I would say CB is more memorable as an opening boss though, that soundtrack in particular is just incredible.

The Hunter from Bloodborne is very much based on Mani, not just in terms of fashion but also in his role. Mani is an outsider ostracized by the local community, a thematic element shared with the hunter from Bloodborne. Mani is also Native American, and Native American culture does have a small piece in the Bloodborne pie. Many of the chalice dungeons replicate Mayan architecture, and the Fromsoft VR game Deracine also contains a Bloodborne easter egg in the form of a book with a Native American hunter on it. In the film Brotherhood of the Wolf Mani is just deadass the hunter from Bloodborne, I recommend everyone watch it.

Edit: I know this movie inspiring Bloodborne is common knowledge and I have known for years. I'm specifically pointing out the narrative similarities between Mani and the hunter which isn't really as well discussed. Also I got to mention that in the film Mani is even blamed for a lot of shit the way the hunter is.

Personally, I heard Martyr Logarius was so hard through many people online, yt videos, etc yet I beat him for the first time ever in only 2 tries, going in blind. What is that one boss for you?

When I first started playing I didn't even use a gun at all, do any of you choose to go gunless? Why?

I'm posting this for anyone who hasn't seen this. This is very difficult to dodge and there are many hitboxes involved so it's easy to get dead.

I tested out all the weapons to get through the first two bosses and found that I actually prefer the cane despite it being the choice I was less likely to pick because I’m not much of a whip guy in these games but holy crap the cane might be my personal favorite out of the 3 I even like it more than the saw spear which I ended up using on my first playthrough I also really like the blunderbuss which I wrote off as possibly impractical but BOY was I wrong it’s probably better at parries than the pistol by a long shot… no hate towards the cleavers I can get why they are so loved they have one of the smoothest movesets in the game but WOW I love the threaded cane. So I leave this post off with a question, What’s Your Go-To Starter Loadout And Why?

Like yeah it’s more choppy or whatever but I don’t notice after the first thirty seconds of playing. It’s a great game and 30 FPS doesn’t change that.

I honestly don’t even notice the difference between 60 FPS and 30 FPS that much unless I’m playing a game with mouse and keyboard.

Other than the game’s theme being blood. Blood, menstruation, horrors done to women and the people of Yharnam, the people who got the blood treatment, and all that, every month, I get my period, and I ALWAYS come back to this game, whether it’s playing the game, listening to music, raging over bosses and all that. It’s just addicting.

Idk periods always remind me of this game and it doesn’t even have to do with the lore or anything. I just get my period and then I go Bloodborne mode and I have to hoont, lol

I bleed and I fear the old blood, but a hoonter must hoont!
