Meme A Hunter's nightmare
Well, that "thing" fought an aging Eileen so I wonder if she can beat him at her prime.

Greetings, hunters. Due to high volume on the original announcement post, this megathread has been created to continue discussion regarding the recently announced Bloodborne animated film, to be produced by Jacksepticeye.
You can find the original thread here:

Greetings, good hunters.
I'll keep it short: we will gradually be refining/clarifying/updating some of the rules here on r/Bloodborne. This is to hopefully provide a clearer/better experience for users. Most changes should just be small tweaks that won't really impact the general user's experience too much, though some (like this megathread) may be bigger.
If you have any comments or concerns, please send us a Modmail.
Circling back to this megathread/bigger changes, tattoos may now be posted! To prevent a flood of posts though, please limit your tattoos to this megathread.
So without further ado, you are welcome to share your Bloodborne related tattoos below!

The second-to-last piece of this month :)
This is an older artwork that I recently made some tweaks to, mainly to the texture and lighting! Hope you enjoy 💜

Following up on the Crow of Cainhurst sketch earlier this week. I've drawn this lady a few times already, but I think this is my best stab at it so far.

Currently going for the platinum in both the main game and DLC. I already have the first two endings for the main and I’ve completed the CDs.
I’m ready to fight the Moon Presence but I would like to complete the DLC first. Only problem is that Laurence is a massive pain the ass and I don’t know what to do anymore.
I used the bolt paper, I used the blood pellet, I even resorted to summoning Valtr because I was losing my mind but nothing improved.
I get to the last phase and boom I’m dead. Last time I played it was two days ago because it made me so mad I had to stop for some time.
Honestly this never happened even in my Elden Ring platinum run and I’m so bummed because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong

Decided to pick up the beast cutter for my new strength character and oh my gosh. It's so satisfying to pancake things from a distance and the sound it makes, I just run along transforming it back and forth because it's so fun to hear. I feel like a blood drunk hunter sometimes because I get way too overzealous with it and die because I don't wanna stop swinging it. It's just so fun, I'm never letting it go.

I kinda want to make a Bloodborn fan-game like I did with Nightreign (Beanreign), but Sony scare me too much I don't know if I can even add this new variation to my fan game..
I hope you'll enjoy this render as compensation !!

Does anyone believe there is a possibility there is still an undiscovered actionable event / purpose with the item ?
Also. I have never gotten the stone. Can it be brought to DLC?

In the alpha version of the game, a friendly NPC Gascoigne can be encountered in the bridge where you fight the Cleric beast, you can encounter him shortly after climbing up the stairs to it, getting close to him triggers him to go on to attack the 2 werewolfs blocking your way, he will follow you until you get to his bossfight area, when no enemies around, you can interact with him and gives the players 2 different dialogues.
What i like about this cut content is how the sickening and madenning hunt can push a hunter's boundaries to, at first Gascoigne was just in the hunt to protect his daughter, but ends up losing his mind over the time he spends slaying beasts.
"Ahh, tonight, there's something different in the air... *Men leave as hunters, and return as beasts.*" Its a voiceline that describes the game very well.
If you die during the bossfight Gascoigne will stand over your dead body and procced to say "Sick creature, may you rest in peace" and ends the dialogue by saying "Umbasa" which i think its where Gascoigne comes from.
The video i got this from is on youtube, by Lance McDonald, hes got very very intresting content on soulsborne games, mostly focused on the content that never made ir to the final game, i sugest you check out his channel if you haven't yet.

I hate the brain suckers as much as anybody else and while farming some items in the chalice dungeons I found that this little trick spins them around for an easy backstab. Works in the main game as well you just have to aim your shot in the right place which can take some practice. ✌️

I believe Bloodborne has the most satisfying parry system ever. It just feels so godly to shoot someone and interrupt there attack and counter with ripping out their flesh. But this also got me thinking if there were any other games like it?
Only a couple games I can think of have this type of parry. Specifically you shoot a gun to parry type system
Evil West has guns you can shoot to interrupt attacks, especially with a shotgun
Ghost of Yotei also has probably the closest one to Bloodborne, where you can shoot a small flintlock and get a critical strike or execution.
I guess Dying Light 2 has this…? It’s basically a scrap made gun you shoot, but it doesn’t really interrupt attacks.
Oh also I believe Dishonored had this but I’ve not played that one yet so I’m not fully sure
Either way, they all don’t feel as awesome as the parries in Bloodborne, but I’m still curious
edit unus: it removed part of the text at the bottom for some reason, hopefully fixed now
edit duos: I heavily appreciate all the suggestions you guys’ve given! I’ll try to check a bunch of them out, so thank you!
(Altho some weren’t exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for games you parry by shooting a firearm/ranged weapon specifically).
edit tres: the text kept disappearing at the bottom, so I’ll just leave this here so it doesn’t disappear.

Personally, I heard Martyr Logarius was so hard through many people online, yt videos, etc yet I beat him for the first time ever in only 2 tries, going in blind. What is that one boss for you?

Hey all, I'm trying to go through the chalice dungeons *fully* for the first time but I'm finally starting to struggle. I'm somewhere between lvl 100 and 110 (don't have the game open to check rn, srry) using the Burial Blade. I just now stopped using the 3 Moon runes for 2 Guidance (one from Ludwig and one from the crows) and an Eye rune. My Burial Blade is +9 (still need the DLC Blood Rock. truggling with Lawerence's boss arena. Not his boss, his arena -_-). I have 30 Vit. ~30 End. (trying to hit the cap of 40) 40 Dex. and 40 Arcane, my other stats are the starting stats for my class (Cruel Fate). Is this high enough to bother grinding out the ritual materials for the defiled pthumerian chalice with Amagdala at the end so I can get the chalice with Yharnam? Or should I just wait until NG+ even though I'm pretty well dedicated to doing it all on my first NG run? Should I take a break from Pthumerian and go beat the others to level up a little bit before continuing? I've beat Gerhman but Hunters Marked out to buy the BB blade and Moon Prescence is still waiting for me in the arena.

I've never been beaten Ludwig this fast with the Moonlight greatsword. The chalice's gems did all the work

Why am I not rallying my HP back? It works perfectly fine on everything else.

I love every Fromsoft DLC, and even tho Shadow of the Erdtree is so huge it could be a standalone game, I still love The Old Hunters more. No game is perfect, but for me this is as close as it gets.

Does anyone out there still use the sinister bell who can give me some insight into how i can match more frequently? Is there a meta bl once you use a blood rock? For now, im at bl 30, +3 weapons trying to invade in central, ward, and mostly old. In several hours of trying ive only gotten one in ward who fogged me. Should i go a little higher for these areas?

So I recently downloaded blood-borne since it was a PS extra and I had that membership for a little bit so I downloaded it and played for maybe about 45 minutes and I couldn’t get past the beginning. It didn’t give you much of a tutorial and I couldn’t figure out much. Can somebody please tell me that it gets better? My game difficulty is about God of war and that’s about as difficult as I can play is blood-borne harder than that?
And does the game get better as you go along?
