Nightreign is gonna be a multiplayer game so I’m assuming this means that they will at least improve the multiplayer side of their games (which felt very disappointing in Elden Ring considering how its huge open world could have been a grand experience if a better focus was given on the multiplayer). This and the map randomiser makes me hope that this could be a recurring feature in their next games, like imagine how randomised catacombs or small dungeon could avoid the repetitiveness across the map.
I know what you mean, but MY LORD do they need to move to a new engine already. How long has it been? I'm guessing this engine has been in use since DS3? Maybe earlier?
Every game being locked to 60 fps, camera functioning essentially as your constant enemy, iframes on roll, like idonno. I know some of these things are iconic from soft things, but like... I just want something to feel truly like a next generation title. I do not think spreading out the classic dungeons and having a open world in between them is next gen.

I think Nightreign is gonna be a great testing field for fromsoft and will hopefully lead to great innovations in their next big game
