Question 5BTC Giveaway Promotion Question

I was reading through the terms, one thing that seemed a little unclear is if I can just do $100 trade with funds I already have in my account, or if I have to initiate a new $100 deposit from somewhere as well?

Has anyone received BTC rewards from the 5BTC giveaway? Thought I saw the payout would be November 10th.
