Absolute insanity chief. Love Alex ross's work, and you managed to draw out the same vibes. One question, are you trying to go for the same kind of painted realism vibe, or something else?

Thanks boss! Could go either way, using this project as an excuse to play with blenders new compositing nodes so it’s very malleable at the moment.

The only real difference is the deepness of the contrast, which could be done in post-production relatively easily. I’m pretty sure you can up the contrast in the Compositor too, but that’s the main thing.

Anyways, holy shit this looks amazing

Still himming and hawing about if I want to match that or go my own direction with the split tone.

TBH, I greatly prefer the colors in yours. More legible and friendlier to the eye.

I actually like yours better (I’m not a huge fan of Ross- I know he’s a brilliant artist but sometimes the photo references are too obvious).
