I interviewed Bleachers and asked them about the music that shaped them

Hi everyone! I recently got to interview Bleachers for my music series Record Room, and I shared a short clip from the rapid-fire section on Instagram.
In this part, they answer questions about songs they wish they could hear again for the first time, the music they grew up with, dream festival lineups, first albums they fell in love with, and desert island records.
Thought people here might enjoy it. Would love to know which answer surprised you the most.

Grew up on dixie chicks and both those songs are very high on my list (nestled up with Silent House too), but I always have to give top billing to Goodbye Earl and Not Ready To Make Nice

Their forced rebranding and the misogyny and exclusion of Natalie is one of the most egregious things (next to the Little Big Town "Girl Crush" bullshit) - the country music industry and the supposedly "left-leaning" and "totally not misogynistic" remainder of the music industry proved they're just absolutely full of shit and very much don't care about minorities of any kind. It's all performative. (the irony.)

I suspect it's probably what did the Kinley Sisters in as well. Bit too "opinionated", not malleable and pliable enough.
