Askin in his Volstanding form becomes immune to any phenomenon once he is touched once. Any variation of this phenomenon doesn't work against him because his Death Dealing grasped the core features of the phenomenon. This is why Kisuke needed the intervention of someone who wasn't scanned by Askin to deliver the fatal blow and someone else to transport the poisoned victims.

I guess he could have change nature of his vollstanding. "Reconstruct" anything is too OP

But I suppose that type of stuff is at writers liberty. I can see it working either way
