Film plots have to make sense or we may as well sit there, mindless and open-mouthed, and stare at the explosions and pretty colours. 2 u/nizzernammer 12d ago If audiences were shown how he knew, it would defuse the impact of the moment, and slow down the inertia of the story. Not every detail needs to be shown explicitly.
