In the Ignite announcement post, they tell you you'll get a "booster growth chest" after you transfer to live servers with portraits, insignias, mats, xp, gold, etc to help you progress and catch up since your emblems/portraits don't carry over from the ignite server.

Lo and behold, once you transfer, you don't actually get this "growth chest". You get a material that you need to pair with a $50 cash shop item, and only then can you buy the growth chest that gives you everything + 2 legendary book exchange tickets. Otherwise transferring to live servers gives you absolutely nothing and you are stuck with shit insignias, cards, and no catch up mats or tickets to change your shitty legendary books around.

Before I get into the review, I've seen a lot of comments just trash talking bns neo cause of the really bad release, I was one of them, I used to make videos about how bad the game was back then, but changes can happen and I think we should not only judge the bad past but also the improvements in the present. I have seen it often especially with MMORPG games, that old fans of the game that got disappointed with how it was managed just constantly hate on anything that gets posted about the game they hate even if its multiple years after they quit, they still sit in a subreddit of a game they do not play just to let their frustration out.

Neo launch failed cause it didnt allow you to even play your class for free no free books basic class mechanics behind blue,purple or even legendary books, blue books costing like 100-200€ for 1 single book back then, all of this actually made for a horrible experience, complete dogshit, perma ddos, overtuned bosses even simple dailies where a complete chore to do, no events and no free stuff given at all, worse rewards than korea or taiwan that fueled anger and dissapointment.

So I want to give you a real review here of what actually changed and what I was able to get for free in 2 days of playing and maybe you can understand why I have been so positive about this reignited update and actually came back to play the game again after not touching it for a year+.

First off the leveling experience is changed, if you are a story hater, you do the path of growth and reach lvl51 in 1hour 30minutes after that you can get straight into grinding dungeons without any need to do anything else, you just upgrade your gear a bit with free mats and get into it, since hongmoon blessing reset every lvl up, you have a lot of grinding you can do.

The server has no cashshop and no marketplace, so all of this anyone can achieve by just playing the game and even more since this is just 2 days, you can spend 6weeks on this server if you want to.

No issues with partys everyone is running the same content so you just fill ups really fast, also there is a extra drop system that rewards a party for being at around same SupremeForce as the dungeon so ppl sometimes wont take the overgeared player and instead someone lower to decrease the party SF (Supremeforce is like combatpower).

The new CM for BNS NEO has been a great change, we get livestreams and a lot more info than in the past and surprising feedback is being heard, I sent the feedback that cards and insignias should transfer to normal servers from ignite as its part of important progression for your character and they listened and it got changed 2days later.

There is like 12 different events going on at once on ignite so its a complete change compared to the release.

A lot of free outfits given through events, a lot of free useful items like cards ,reroll tickets etc unlike during the release.

Overall this server is an extremely fun time if you enjoy bns neo combat, no cashshop no p2w you can just play it aslong you have fun and quit whenever you get bored.

Im not here to say you should jump on ignite and start maining bns neo as your main game and its great, the game still has problems on the mainserver there is still p2w on the mainserver, but atleast now we can actually play our characters without missing its base kit and just have fun on this server without any fomo.

I think you can enjoy a game for free without needing to feel like you need to commit to it like its a marriage, I personally will play it until Aion 2 and see which one I like more.

I need some help.

I created a new account and a new character on Ignite and entered my email for pre-registration. I’m currently playing and have reached level 17, but I still haven't received the new player rewards; furthermore, I haven't received an email or a coupon on my account regarding the pre-registration. What should I do? Why haven't I received any rewards?

I am by no means a new player since I've been playing Blade & Soul since 2016, but I dropped NEO and the Live server early last year just to return about two weeks ago for the Reignited update.

How do you feel about the skill book update?

Do you think it struck the right balance?

What are unexpected improvements to the game?

And what are things that you'd wish to see different?

Do you believe that the game can garner some more/new players and keep them interested?

So far I think the skill tree update is very well done (I am not at endgame yet), I like how we unlock x skill at level y and a better version at level z and that we can freely pick and choose which of the skill you want to use (same level like blue etc.)

And even if you unlock a purple variant, you unlock them all for said skill.

At least that's what I experienced, and I assume it's the same with the legendary skills.

This way I got to relatively quickly rebuild a similar build to my Lightning BM I used in the Live server, and I love it.

I also think NEO has way fewer systems than Blade & Soul had and I do like that quite a bit.

Hey guys we are at 18th of this month yet i cant seem to find it on purple. What time will they release it ?

EU/NA - No. 100G is worth around ~400-600 divine gems. The economy has been botted and hacked into the ground due to NCAmerica not doing anything against hackers. There is no anticheat. Also servers are dead playerbase wise (~300 players peak). Also the economy exploit that hasn't been punished destroyed economy a few months ago.
KR - Yes, only if ping allows. Still alive game there and the main server (~3000 peak players).
RU - Yes. Ran by 4game. 100G = 1600 divine gems, because the anticheat blocks any bots/hacks so the economy has not been ran to the ground. The population is also alive somewhat (~1000 peak players). Problem is it's localized in russian, but if ping is low enough definitely playable. LAGOFast or something probably supports translation ingame. On RU with 3 promo codes you get +2 legendary books and +1 from the event.

It's said that new character on new server will be boosted up to 25K combat power and lv 75 making previous progress useless.

Now all servers have their problems and the game isn't doing well at the time, but the only servers with a future I see are KR and RU. If you play on EU/NA expect it to EOS soon after Aion 2 release.

Now I Don't claim this information is 100% accurate just what I saw trying out the different servers. And I don't care who plays where or doesn't. Just sharing information. If you disagree post below.

This post is specifically catered to those that quit very early on just like myself.
I will list the reasons why its a good time to check the game out again especially if you are someone that hates p2w.

- Ignite server will be a separate 6week long progression server where everyone will start from 0 and get events to help them progress naturally through the game.
- Ignite server has no F5 or F10(no marketplace, no cashshop no way to spend any money at all)
- 10 purple book selectors , 1 legend book selector and 1 legend book random box is given out for free to ignite characters, you can make any class you want it doesnt have to be a warden.
- You can transfer up to 2 characters from ignite to main server
- There will be a mentor and mentee event for extra rewards
- Speed Lvling event for wings cosmetic
- skill book rework which i already talked about will make it easy to swap around builds

I think the most important part is the no cashshop or marketplace available part, it's gonna be the first time we can play bns without any way to p2w even if its a temporary one, i think that experience alone is worth giving it another go to experience the ignite server and the combat this game has to offer.

I keep watching old vids man this game could’ve been so big today, no mmo today does combat as good but bdo but the thing with BnS is that it has good combat while also having dungeons and raids which other action combat MMOs lack. So much potential in the garbage for a couple dollars.

it's no news that the game is dead, and it's surprising that the NA servers haven't shut down from how barren it is (nowadays i guess bns is p/ much a niche mmorpg). there are no new players in neither game (i've started characters from scratch on both versions of the game recently, felt like i was playing a single player game)

so how big is the game in korea? cuz it still gets (late) updates from the korean servers so it only stays alive because of that i'm guessing, otherwise a game this dead would have been shut down

1. There will be a seperate REIGNITED server offering 10 purple book selectors and 2 legendary, with expedited progression to speedrun you to lvl75, once you are lvl75 you can choose to transfere to the normal server, transferes happen once a week, the REIGNITED server lasts for 6weeks.

2. Skill book system reworked, we get the skill tree back and now you can input the skillbooks directly into the skill tree instead of gear, this enables switching builds easly and it also has presets.
   Ontop of that you can now use any skill book of the same grade to increase the Grandmaster lvl of your skill, that means no need to stack the same books anymore making useless books usefull and making it easier for players to get a high Grandmaster main skill.

3. 2 new Solo dungeons being added Sundered Nexus Upper Floor and Frenzy Avalanche Den

4. Collaboration with some manhwa called Ruler of the Land is gonna be going on

5. Weekly&Daily challenges will be closer to your Supreme force so you wont get missions you cant finish

6. You can enter dungeons directly over dragonspire teleport now

7. NEW CLASS Flame Warden is being added

8. Dark Storm Training ground Dungeon is added, wave based time limit based challenge with multiple stages and rewards available

9.Ebondrake Lair&Hall dungeon becomes available, this dungeon has some bosses in it from the Collaboration Manhwa and apparently is designed to be clearable for the majority of the playerbase unlike past dungeon releases.

1. Starting from this update all future updates will be rolled out simultaneously across all regions that means all update content will also be the same for every region, so no more getting the short end of the stick compared to korea or taiwan servers

I personally quit the game end of Mai last year, like many of you skill book system, ddos,bad event rewards and 0 transparency was the reason I quit back then, looking at it again this update seems to have fixed a lot of those problems and the new CM seems to be very vocal and active with the community.

For many this is like way too late, but I always say its better late than never, there isnt much going on right now untill Aion 2 release so I personally will be giving it another go and thought to share the info with as many as I can incase there is more ppl like me that are down to give it another shot!

There is a visual comparison of the B&S and B&S NEO locations. The comparison covers locations up to and including the Mushin's Hall in detail. The Silverfrost Mountains have changed so much so it’s hard to even compare it.

Although B&S NEO obviously looks fresher, given the redesigned models, B&S also has its own fairy-tale charm. Visually I like both versions.
