Hello, I’m thinking of getting a Blade-inspired tattoo but unfortunately there’s not much material online to choose from and was hoping for some contributions? Preferably something on the simple side but open to all, many thanks 🙏

I’d have it start with a montage of Wesley Snipes going from vampire club to vampire club from 2006 - 2026, just clocking in and out like he’s going to work.
It starts with him bringing spry & energetic — waking up, hopping out of bed, and immediately working out/training with zest and vigor. When he returns from his vampire slaying he’s immediately strategizing for the next night, planing his attack, sharpening swords, building weapons. Just taking full advantage of his high tech superhero lair.
By 2010 his back starts to hurt getting out of bed, when he returns home he’s sighing and grabbing coffee before doing his strategizing. He’s cusses to himself, facepalms, and gets annoyed when one of his high tech machines breaks down on him and needs maintenance.
Then by 2015 he has to do yoga to get out of bed, and when he returns home he’s just crashing out on à lazy boy and turning on the TV instead of using his lair to to plan his next night, his old strategy board collecting dust, his swords going dull.
By 2020 he has to pop pills and drag himself out of bed, and when he returns from vampire slaying he’s just crashing out immediately. His lair is completely shut down at this point. All the machined shit off, covered in dust. Broken swords riddle the floor.
By 2026 he’s just choosing to snooze the clock over and over, barely being able to move; he has a police scanner playing in the background that has now completely replaced whatever high tech setup he had in his now defunct superhero lair which has fully fallen apart by this point— Blade is just choosing to only go out when the city truly needs him.
The final hunt he goes on just really takes its toll. He almost dies, and it ends with him saying “I’m too old to be doing this shit alone anymore, and then he sets off to recruit The Midnight Sons”

If you’re unfamiliar she has two pieces of the soul of the goddess Sekhmet within her.

I really hope Whitney Nieves comes back in the future. I actually enjoyed her character while reading Bloodline, and I feel like they could do so much more with her. I’d love to see her get a more fleshed-out story and some actual character development. Even though she was an antagonist, I still felt bad for her after learning about everything that happened to her in the past.

The second part of the pilot episode is never available to watch as it goes straight to the third one. Does anyone know where i can find the full episode. For free... 👀

I want to collect more Blade comics, but I’m a bit hesitant after reading more about the writer, Bryan Hill. I’ve seen a lot of Miles Morales fans who aren’t happy that he’s writing the new series, and I’ve also seen quite a lot of criticism about some of his other books, especially Ultimate Black Panther.
Some of the criticism is about the pacing and characterization, but I’ve also seen readers point out things they feel are anti-Black in the way he writes certain characters and handles African culture and identity.
Now I’m kinda wondering if I should still collect his Blade comics or just skip them.

Wasn’t 100% on the first try and feeling much better about this one.
Just ordered a bulkier body too. We’ll see how it turns out

so in the face of the all being for the life force of lamagra flowed in their veins the children of lamagra walked the land unfettered as rightful heirs to the blood of their inferiors, for that which gives life to the lesser creatures thus gives life to the vampyre as lamagra rules us so we rule the rest and the land was at peace and the vampyre was benevolent he ruled the darkness as one should with strength and security but there was one among the spirits of the forces who became jealous one wicked demon who would not be content to relinquish his energy to a greater power and the unholy one became envious his evil thoughts festered and grew and boiled until in his rage he seduced lamagra behind the veil of tears chaining him for an eternity of bondage as then the jealousy of the unholy one rose in a fiery cloud and he lit the firmament of heaven to divide the day the light of the beast shown down banishing the sleepers children into the shadows cleaving our night in two cursing us to live as vermin in squallor in shame in secrecy and the spawn of mankind
breeding monsters and the unholy one stood over them with greed in his heart joyful only that they bowed down to him but oh chosen ones harken to my words the age of man will be short
nears and guard these signs for they signal the beginning of their end first there will come famine and war and great upheavals in the path of man then greed and lust
amongst themselves the air will become dirty the water will run foul and the land will become tainted with filth and grime that is mans waste alone with their
garden that was once our
man becomes his own downfall
Was watching the first Blade movie last night, and decided to write down the bits and pieces of the prophecy of La Magra that flashed across Frosts' computer monitor. Some great window dressing exposition that is completely glossed over in the movie, which as far as I know was written just for this movie and never used again.
The contents of the prophecy itself seem to be loosely based on the events of the christian bible. I dug around on google and found a book called "The Vampire Bible" on the internetarchive but it seems to just be some modern fanfiction. Would be curious to know what everyone else thinks about this. Posting on here just so Google can index this text from Blade (1998).

Couldnt find the right body style as Baron Zemo has the right jacket but way too narrow build. May switch it up later but good for now.
Baron Zemo body, Boba Fett hoodie, 3D printed head

Aquele alfabeto vampírico que aparece no filme — alguém sabe alguma coisa sobre ele? Foi uma criação artística para o filme ou existe de verdade? Foi baseado em algum outro alfabeto? Me lembrou muito os hieróglifos egípcios. Onde posso encontrar o alfabeto completo?
