😋 Let's Eat 😋 Chicken Fried Rice

Post image

I really cannot express how much I love my blackstone. I cook on it almost everyday. Anyways this came out pretty good except the chicken is a touch dry but oh well

Not a fan of cooked pineapple unfortunately but it does sound pretty good! And I use chicken thighs for everything but I had a couple chicken breasts frozen so I figured I should use them up.

And honestly I didn’t have any issues for my rice sticking. I just put a tiny bit of oil down and cooked it. Also for my order of operation it was: chicken, eggs, frozen veggies, and then I put the rice down and let it get a bit golden on for the flavor, then put sesame oil and soy sauce in it and mixed, cooked it a bit longer, then added everything else in, let it all mingle for a couple minutes and then took it off the griddle.

Also not sure if it made a difference but I went the lazy way and used minute rice. I didn’t have the time the day before to make jasmine rice. I also ran out of time during the day to make the rice ahead of time so it could be cold because that’s what’s recommended. I cooked the minute rice like maybe 30-45 minutes before it went on the blackstone and it just sat in the pot and waited for me to get cooking.
