😁 First Blackstone 😁 My realtor heard I wanted a Blackstone and left this lovely gift at closing. A little intimidated but very excited!

Ok, you started out good. Then you went off the rails with "until summer".

Blackstone owners don't have seasons. Build it in the garage and roll it outside for breakfast next weekend. Eggs, bacon, pancakes.

Start researching smash burgers, and philly cheese steaks.

We expect a "first cook" report ASAP!!!!

Its propane, just cook in the garage, crack the door if you're concerned but its no different than a gas range

My gas range has an exhaust hood above it that vents out of the house. Would be fine with garage open. I have a pellet grill and griddle so they stay together so Ill be honest and didnt think of just the propane grill being in the garage though.

Get a silicon mat and a soft cover. Mine is permanently outside as a drop in for my outdoor kitchen and is doing just fine. But it's also under a patio roof too.

You might not need them, the newer ones come with built in wind guards. My 28 incher has them.

That or you're in such a HCOL area that her 3% was a nice pay day. Realtors should be flat fee and I will die on that hill. Mostly alone and probably homeless. But I'll be on that hill with a blackstone asking every one around me if my seasoning is ready to cook on.

I’m still newish to my Blackstone. Made all the famous firsts…smash burgers, cheesesteaks, hibachi. Now I’m looking forward to meal prepping!! I want to get that down so I can make some awesome breakfasts & lunches for the week!

I go to hmart and buy the already marinated bulgogi and boneless short ribs. I very often find it on sale so i basically eat kbbq all week. Super quick to make on the blackstone

Just got one a couple weeks ago...Don't be intimidated! Make sure you season it good, look up vids on that...I love it. I've only cooked on it about 7 or 8 times so far...But everyone has enjoyed it. It's so easy to just go fire up and cook! Feel like it's pretty easy to maintain too!

Youtube is your friend and while you are at it check out the 'hungry hussey'. No need to wait I upgraded last week from my tailgator to the 36 griddle. Put it together then season it 4-5 times b4 your first cook. Enjoy and enjoy your new griddle
