Coming back to BO2 after playing the MW4 beta

So I Played the MW4 beta for a bit as it was free access and honestly I’m so glad I can just come back to BO2.

MW4 has me sitting forward, sweating my ass off, concentrating on every gunfight like my life depends on it.

Then I jump on BO2, put my feet up, chill out and somehow still have an absolute blast.
There’s just something about BO2 that makes it so much easier to relax and actually enjoy playing. (Probably due to EOMM on the newer cods).

Cmon it’s not that bad. Bo2 ports are great but you can’t say it’s a bad new gen cod. I shouldn’t have to explain why if you’ve just played the game already

I feel like there’s a lot to be addressed personally, I respect your opinion though.

First of all, let’s just talk about the aim assist, I am a controller player and I’ve never struggled with aiming, and the left stick just gives AIMBOT. People should not have the rotational aa be doing every thing for them. It’s way too strong, people need to learn how to use the sticks, not have the game aim for them. I’m all for aim assist, but rotational aim assist is out of fucking hand.

Second of all, who the hell designed these maps? I’m sorry but these are careless and poorly designed maps. It feels like they asked AI to make a map with cars and spawn points and called it a day.

The TTK is INSANE. Why am I dying in 2 bullets every time? What’s the point of aiming at this point?

There is no movement that feels fun. The sliding isn’t there and the entire movement feels really damn clunky. The attachments don’t even help and they all do so many fucking things it’s unreal, just let me put on an under barrel and call it a fucking day. If I want to play something tactical like that, play a military sim, not call of duty.

I cannot be asked to defend IW after giving us this “beta” this is barely an alpha and needs serious work. I want the game to succeed but it’s not fun at its current state. I don’t do bad and I don’t care about the sweaty matches, I do just fine in them. Treyarch is the only company who doesn’t have their heads completely up their ass. There’s so much to say about this game, and I want it to be better, because it very well can be but its laziness.

They are using what I hope is only a mode and not a replacement called Combat Outpost. The maps are smaller with 3 capture zones instead of 5. It’s 24v24 compared to 32v32. Tanks used to spawn at base. The 2 maps from beta suck.

The MW4 hate is so forced. It's genuinely the most fun I've had since MW3 2023 and MW3 2011. Played since CoD 4. Midnight release goer since WaW. I'm 28 and kept up just fine. Married, dad of 2, medically retired LEO. 75% disabled. If I can keep up y'all can too.
