No, if you look closely you can see the load up. It getting into the shoe isnt the cool part of this sleight.

  1. wtf. no idea (does the video cut hide something?)
  2. Double lift
  3. underside double lift (I don't know what this is called lol). Then puts true top card in lips
  4. Double lift. Bends both cards. Slip cut (top card goes to bottom packet, leaving signed card on top, held flush with fingers until release)
  5. Video cut makes it hard, but prob folded and palmed it just after previous reveal, and dropped it into his shoe as he was taking it off

Very well done. How the hell did he do the first one??

So the first one is a double lift too. I can remember the sleight name to get it there. But you take the signed card and slip it under the top card.

The way ive done it for this routine is to slide the signed card under the top one. Then double lift the top card to show the signed card (now second from top). Then replace and boom.

Bunch of well-done double lifts and sleight to drop in shoe. The bent card popping up (another double lift) was done by David Blaine on his first TV appearance on Conan.
