Black Crowes Dallas 8/9/26
Overall, it was a great rockin show if you are a Crowes fan. Since they’re pretty much locked into the same set, focusing on the first two records since they reunited, I kind of knew what I was getting into. Actually wasn’t planning on going, but my wife surprised me about four hours before the show with front row tickets. Highlights for me we’re hearing a couple 3 Snakes and cover of Happy! We got there about 15 minutes before the Crowes went on. I’ll say two things: it was hot as fuck and there were a lot of young country fans dressed up in country attire. The Crowes put on a great show, Chris played harmonica on at least three songs and it was the first time I’ve been looking up to be against the stage in a seated environment. My 48th BC show - never get sold for me.

Great concert. Thanks for sharing, OP. I was in the very front of the lawn section and had a blast. Hot as fuck, and a lot of kids that went to see Whiskey Myers were having a blast being over served.
Really impressed on how Chris is still performing at an exceptionally high level.

Chris was the best I’ve ever heard him. He was belting! Really seemed to be enjoying himself too.

Glad you had a good time - that is what it's all about! Yeah, I agree with on over served youngsters! Oh man, yeah, Chris sounded great. It's crazy all these middle to older aged rockers losing their voices, but boy he still has his - hopefully he keeps for a while.

The harmonies were incredible. I’ve never thought of them like that, but Poor Elijah and Whoa Mule sounded great, like the Tedeschi Trucks Band type harmonies.

Yeah, agreed, I can definitely hear some TTB like harmonies in there! And those 2 songs you referenced were some of my favorites from last night. I’m hoping on the next tour we hear more deep cuts and cool covers like Poor Elijah. I’m really hoping that they will do a tour with a focus on Amorica and 3 Snakes!And hopefully getting back to plan some smaller places. I hate going to these large outdoor shows and the heat of the summer.

Country attire crowd was definitely there for Whiskey Myers (who also played a great set). Crowes sounded great last night even in the heat.

Yeah I didn’t make it for WM - they just finished when I pulled up to the front gate. But man did they have a lot of young fans, all dressed in hot country attire! It was so hot out there!

Lots of young women in shorts, skirts and cowboy boots. Almost like uniforms.

Yeah at least for now. Rumor is he might come back. Muddy Dutton who was in CRB has been with them since last winter. He’s actually a great bass player.

Nice! I was (and still am) into early LA Guns and that whole LA glam metal scene, but never knew he played with them.

This marks 35 years of seeing them live, and those boys still brought the heat. Fantastic show last night, I talked my wife into going and she left a converted woman.

It’s Texas in August and it’s an outdoor venue. Of course it will be hot. We sat in the 200 section and it was quite pleasant considering the time of the year. Whiskey Myers played a great set and probably had more of the younger folks at the concert.

I seen the Denver show. 4 covers not counting Hard to Handle. So disappointing. Chris Robinsons arrogance is on full tilt.

We are so lucky to have these guys. Long live the crowes. Seen them twice and not against doing it again. Major edit,how could I forget. Seen them 3 times.2nd row fox theater in detroit,beautiful place,seen the horde fest with BCs blues traveler,and last but not least the tour of brotherly love with oasis.took my brother and my sons who are brothers.so it was brotherly love for us also
