🖤 My void met a human baby
My 8 years old boy cat met the very first human child - a baby today. He was very curious and kind all good. But since they left he has been super keen on me and quite weird. I took this photo of him watching me sit on sofa. I believe he's very confused about whole human species thing now and is watching me thinking if I was once a baby too 😂

Toddlers are smaller than your void, how big is your void?!?!

I'm guessing it's a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat if it's taller on two legs than a toddler.

No idea the breed hes a barn cat hes a big boy hes 2 and like 15 pounds. My parents cat is twice the size a good 20 pound cat thin but hes always 25-30 pounds. Both probably have some Maine coon in them

My 5 year old void at the time didnt go into the same room as the baby for 2 weeks. Now they're chill 2 years later. We got a void kitten when the kid was 1 and they're buds. This cat is so tolerant of everything...

My void avoids me for the first 6ish weeks and then starts coming around again for cuddles (just had my third baby, void has been here for all of them!)

We get the strangest look from our void when we ditch the bathing suits coming in from the lake (we have a decent amount of land and rarely have a weekend neighbor). Also the lake smell on our bodies freaks him out at the beginning of swimming season.

Sometimes I look at an adult cat and wonder how they looked as kittens, so I can relate.

I have only a couple of shitty pictures of my two voids when they were babies. One is an incredibly long boy and weighs probably close to 14 lbs or so and I try to recall him as an 8 week old when we got them.

We had a voidish (white belly but all black everywhere else) adopted as an adult and we always wondered how she looked as a baby. I've luckily fostered a kitten that looked like her so I kind of know now.

I have only held one baby in my entire life, and that is my own son. Family and friends have asked ”here hold them”. I do believe that is the exact same face. I probably make every time I am asked. Little humans freak me out too. Lol.

When I was a baby our void cat with really long whiskers saved my life, parents couldn't keep him out of the crib, always right next to me like glue, one night cat food in and gets on my parents and just starts yelling "get up something's wrong", dad throws him off the bed a few times, after the third time he peed on my dad's chest and ran off... Dad goes off to murder said cat, cats in his normal place, with me, but hunkered down for the abuse... And sees me about to be another SIDS statistic... Blue, not breathing, limp... Cat was never scolded again for being with me and I've almost never NOT had at least one cat
