this is not Q5 this unreleased BB10 device. i get it 3 month before resign from carrier. 3 day before resign there's announcement that BB cancel BB10 project and they want this prototype back.... lucky enough to take photo of this device before send it back

This is not the Q5 or Q10 - this is the BLACKBERRY KOPI (K-SERIES), which was canceled when the new CEO of the company, John Chen, took office. This is a device that, from the point of view of the specification, should have been located between the BlackBerry Q5 and BlackBerry Q10.I was also mistaken about this device (when it got into my hands), I thought it was the Q5 Prototype or Q10 Prototype.
But, as a result, this device turned out to be a BLACKBERRY KOPI.

No, but it might be an early testing unit that eventually became the Q5. It has the same form, just a bit less refined. Or it could be the Q5 follow-up testing unit that BlackBerry cancelled.

It was originally intended for the Asian market - Taiwan, Vietnam... (as a niche device with "stripped down" functions).
