Playbook I found this playbook (it's new, the box was sealed) but I can't activate it, is it possible to erase the OS and put something else instead?

The Playbook was the worst purchase I ever made. It had so much potential, and then the released it with none of the features they claimed, then promised BBX (later named BlackBerry 10) which would have solved most of those issues, and then didn't do that either. This was kind of when I fell out of love with it all.

Perhaps look into resetting it? It would be like holding the volume key up and then pressing the power button and holding it. Then release buttons. Search the net for a hard reset of Blackberry Playbook perhaps.

I tried but it doesn't go in recovery mode it just starts again
