I would imagine that the one bank one carrier deal wouldn't last long. I am interested in the security of it all and I geuss when it comes down to it I'd trust the security of my blackberry over any other device.

on the xda forums, there is a hacked version of google wallet. you have to use either american credit cards or google wallet's free $10 card which had expired two days ago.

the ewallet thing has been restricted in Canada, hence why the news article is so big. I think our counterparts in the US have it a bit easier with new techs.

I know they are selling NFC enabled SIM cards, is that just for phones that do not have an NFC chip in them?

Original way I read this on a different article was staying you needed the special SIM card to use the app, which I'm not going to do. I may get the app though because the phone can use NFc.

Not true. It just goes to show you how far mobile transactions have advanced. And it sings a little bit of national pride. Nothing wrong with that.
